Fruit Saplings He Kept in Remembrance
Once the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited Farm No. 1116.
That day, while resting his eyes on the orchard beside its mushroom factory, he asked an official of the farm if he had sent fruit saplings to the farm four years before since then.
Answering the question of the General Secretary that he did, the official recollected the day four years before.
At that time, the General Secretary had sent many fruit saplings to the farm for providing the people with tasty and nutritive apples.
Pointing at the trees with many apples, the official informed that those trees were ones which the General Secretary had sent to the farm.
The General Secretary said with a bright smile on his face that he sent dwarf apple saplings to the farm a few years ago, adding that he was pleased to see the trees with many apples.
Looking up to the General Secretary expressing his satisfaction, the officials deeply kept in mind his noble intention to provide our people with tasty and nutritive fruits to their satisfaction.
His Cheerful Smile
One June day several years ago, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un visited the Jangchon Vegetable Farm in Sadong District.
Looking round different places of the farm, he looked at leeks on the vegetable exhibition stand.
An official informed that seeds of the leeks were given by the General Secretary the year before.
When the General Secretary visited the farm the year before, he instructed that as for the greenhouse vegetable, it was good to plant the leek, which grows up as well as the spring onion, and then he sent even the leek seeds to the farm.
The General Secretary said that the leeks exhibited were so big, adding that he saw to it that leeks were planted in several units on trial as the leek was good to eat and for people’s health.
Being informed that servicepersons were very pleased after receiving the leeks, the General Secretary expressed his great satisfaction.
The General Secretary is, indeed, a benevolent father of our people who finds his pleasure in the work for people’s well-being.
