The missile unit in charge of major fire striking mission in the central part of the front conducted a firing practice for demonstration on March 27 to make its sub-units get familiar with the procedure and process of carrying out the major fire striking mission.
The demonstration firing practice was guided by the General Missile Bureau and watched by commanding officers and combatants of the sub-units of the missile unit.
The education company directly under the missile unit involved in the practice carried out the demonstration firing with two ground-to-ground tactical ballistic missiles in the way of strike by aerial nuclear explosion.
The preliminary firing practice inspected the normal operation of the procedure of authenticating the order of nuclear attack and the launch-approving system and gave demonstration education to the standard combat action process and firepower training movements for mounting nuclear attack on the pointed target according to the procedure and rules of receiving the order of nuclear attack.
The tactical ballistic missiles were loaded with trial warheads simulating nuclear warheads.
The education company exploded warhead 500 metres in the air while making simulated nuclear attack on the target of island before Kim Chaek City of North Hamgyong Province from Ryokpho District in Pyongyang City.
The commander of the unit said the mission of his unit is clear and they know well what they should do in case of contingency, and affirmed that they will surely annihilate the enemy in the fight.
