DPRK is a military power in missile and nuclear weapon field: Russian military expert

Military expert Igor Korotchenko, Editor-in-Chief of the Russian magazine "National Defence", stated in an interview with the Ria Novosti News Agency on March 28 that the Democratic People's Republic of Korea has taken the position of a major military power in the missile and nuclear weapon field.
He said:
The DPRK has made an unprecedented progress in the missile and nuclear program and actually taken the position of a major military power in this field.
Pyongyang is now conducting the work to serialize the production of all the latest weapons it tested of late. From this point of view, the DPRK coincides with the standard of the modern military power at least in the missile and nuclear weapon field.
The defence industry sector of the DPRK has the ability and is ready to carry out the tasks advanced by the leadership of the country.
Unheard-of successes have been made in the fields of industry and science of the DPRK, though it has been under sanctions for a long time.
The DPRK developed by itself the mobile intercontinental ballistic missile system which can attack the United States. It shows the development of the defence industry of the DPRK. We are reminded that the DPRK possesses new types of nuclear weapon carriers including the system similar to Russia's "Status-6" system (unmanned submarine apparatus "Poseidon").
Nobody should think from the missile and nuclear program of the DPRK that Pyongyang is going to start a war first.
The army building of this country is of deterrent character before everything else.
Regrettably, the objective view of Korea is not predominant among us.
In fact, however, they are very responsible people with sound thought.
They set it as the major goal of the nuclear program to deter the aggressive moves of the United States, Japan and south Korea.
As the DPRK has the ability and is ready to mount a nuclear attack for frustrating the aggressive moves, nobody will dare to invade it.
