A medical oxygen factory built in a thick forest full of fresh air on the outskirts of Pyongyang is now mass-producing high-quality medical oxygen.

Equipped with excellent production facilities capable of producing both gas and liquid oxygen with the same high purity as natural oxygen, the factory is also permeated with tender love of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un .

7 years ago, respected Comrade Kim Jong Un , who always paid deep attention to the work of protecting and caring people’s life and health, initiated the construction of modern medical oxygen factory which was so much needed in the sector of public health. He gave detailed teachings on the construction, ranging from the building site to design and building operation. In May that year, he visited the dusty building site and solved all the problems arising in the construction.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un energetically led the whole process of the construction, becoming himself the designer and the owner of building. Thanks to his devoted efforts, the medical oxygen factory was wonderfully built within a short period of only several months.

In September 2016, respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Medical Oxygen Factory where all production processes are automated and computerized, and fully equipped with all the necessary facilities for supplying medical oxygen to hospitals without any inconvenience. He was very pleased that the factory is small, but big enough in actively contributing to the protection of people’s lives and caring of their health. He warmly said that the factory encapsulates the people-oriented view of the Workers’ Party of Korea, the spirit of selfless devotion to people.

Respected Comrade Kim Jong Un set forth many tasks for the factory on that day. These include the normalization of production based on the maximum increase of technical skills and responsibilities of the workers, scrupulous equipment control and technical management, good care of facilities and the establishment of strict quality control system for providing good-quality oxygen of hygienic standard.

He said that we should also build modern medical oxygen factories in other areas based on the experiences gained during its construction.

Today, under the careful attention and solicitude of respected Comrade Kim Jong Un , the medical oxygen factories built in several provinces including Pyongyang are producing medical oxygen which is up to all of the medical standards set by the World Health Organization and supplies it in sufficient amounts to the medical facilities in the region.

Thanks to the warm love for the people cherished by respected Comrade Kim Jong Un , yet another precious asset, a small but big treasured factory, has been erected on this land and our people are living worthwhile lives free from diseases, enjoying the benefits of the socialist healthcare system.
