Most Precious Ideological and Spiritual Treasure
It was July 26, Juche 109(2020).
The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un noted that it was very significant to hold the 6th National Conference of War Veterans to commemorate the 67th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.
And he added that our wartime generation was the heroic one who put the US imperialists’ nose out of joint with the endless loyalty to the Party and leader, spirit of defending the country, matchless self-sacrificing spirit and valiant militant mettle.
That day the General Secretary gave precious instructions that the pride of the present generation, the descendants of the wartime generation who defeated the US imperialists and created the heroic legends specially recorded in the history of our nation, is the precious ideological and spiritual treasure.
The instructions of the General Secretary made us realise the noble tradition, honor and spirit which we have to keep in mind and inherit for ever.
Feats of Wartime Generation Should Be Recollected and Followed Forever
On July 1st of Juche 102(2013) the respected General Secretary inspected the then Cemetery of Fallen Fighters of Korean People’s Army (KPA) whose construction was close to completion.
The General Secretary paid deep attention to the construction of the cemeteries of fallen fighters in regions.
In early February that year the General Secretary gave detailed instructions about the issue of building the cemeteries of fallen fighters of KPA in every province to mark the 60th anniversary of the victory in the Fatherland Liberation War.
Thus, the construction of the cemeteries was being promoted vigorously across the country according to the standard design made by a national institution.
Being informed about it, the General Secretary stressed the need to spruce up the cemeteries of fallen fighters of the KPA in the provincial seats so that the youths and people across the country recollect the immortal feats of wartime generation for ever and follow their popular heroism and patriotic spirit.
The General Secretary, saying that the WPK is the owner of the graves of fallen fighters in Fatherland Liberation War, stressed the need for effectively conducting the education to make officials and working people live and struggle with the spirit of defending the country in the 1950s.
Listening to the General Secretary, officials made a pledge to uphold his noble intention.
