The respected Comrade Kim Jong Un visited the Sci-Tech Complex under construction on February 26, Juche 104(2015).
Looking at its bird's-eye view set up on the spot, he said with satisfaction that the Sci-Tech Complex is really wonderful and its miniature had been made well.
Researcher Kim Jong Hwa at the Sci-Tech Complex says:
"That day, the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un said the Sci-Tech Complex should be built into a great temple of learning where not only the scientists and technicians but also all other people can learn to their hearts' content and into a hub for dissemination of advanced science and technology.
He continued: As an endless stream of automobiles come to the fuel stands to be refuelled, so the people should come to the Sci-Tech Complex to learn the knowledge of latest science and technology. The Sci-Tech Complex should be a centre for dissemination incessantly circulating the information of science and technology, not a place with stagnant water."
His instructions that day were plain ones on the mission and role of the Sci-Tech Complex as a great temple of learning for all the people and a centre for dissemination of latest science and technology.
The Sci-Tech Complex was inaugurated on January 1, Juche 105(2016).
Over the past seven years it has been used by many working people, students and schoolchildren who came for information service and the enthusiasm for learning through it is mounting continuously.
As a nationwide dissemination network has been established centring on the Sci-Tech Complex, new scientific and technological information flows from the centre to the lowest level.
