The DPRK Embassy in the Republic of Equatorial Guinea hosted a reception on the occasion of the 75 th founding anniversary of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK) on September 7.
Invited to the reception were H.E. Maricruz Evuna Andeme， Secretary of State on behalf of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation and Diaspora of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea, Director-General for Asia and Pacific and officials of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Secretary-General of the Chamber of Deputies and many other figures from all strata.
Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the DPRK to the Republic of Equatorial Guinea and other Embassy staff were at the reception.
The participants laid a floral basket in the name of the government of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea and bowed before the portraits of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il in the Embassy.
The Secretary of State of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, in her speech, extended warm congratulations to the DPRK government and people on the occasion of the 75 th founding anniversary of the DPRK in the name of H.E. President Obiang Nguema Mbasogo and on behalf of the government and people of the Republic of Equatorial Guinea. She affirmed their commitment to continued development of the traditional relations of friendship and cooperation between the two countries in the principle of mutual benefits in coming years, too.
