The Pedagogical Institute, newly built under the loving care of the Workers' Party of Korea, focuses on updating the talent-training methods to facilitate the development of the country's educational science.
The institute is directing efforts to fulfilling the core research goals under a step-wise plan, while giving precedence to the theoretical research into improving educational structure.
Research is intensified with main emphasis placed on following the worldwide trend of educational development and applying good experience while firmly preserving the nature of socialist education.
The institute also conducts research into bettering the teaching structure to put national talent training on a solid scientific basis, develop new theories and subjects of educational science and train all students as active learners and explorers.
Research is also under way to pioneer new subjects of educational science.
The institute also pushes ahead with many research projects, including the ones for correctly defining the type of talents and putting the designing of the educational programs on a scientific footing, while compiling various books conducive to educational development.
