Pyongyang, July 18 (KCNA) -- A European regional seminar "In Memory of Great President Kim Il Sung " was held in Berlin on July 8, the 30th anniversary of demise of President Kim Il Sung , under the co-sponsorship of the European Regional Committee for Friendship with the Korean People and the German Branch of the Korean Friendship Association.
Present there were personages of the European Regional Committee for Friendship with the Korean People, the Asia-Pacific Regional Committee for Friendship and Solidarity with the Korean People, organizations for friendship and solidarity of different countries, the Korean Friendship Association and its branches of different countries.
The chairman of the Switzerland-Korea Committee who is vice-chairman of the European Regional Committee made a keynote report at the seminar.
He said in his report that the great President Kim Il Sung was the greatest man who defeated the Japanese imperialists, brought the freedom and liberation to the Korean people and built an independent and sovereign state on the land of Korea.
Thanks to the leadership of President Kim Il Sung , an invincible and iron-willed commander, the DPRK became the first state to win a historic victory in the war against the U.S. imperialists who boasted of being the "strongest" in the world, he stressed.
He noted that world people are revering the President who struggled for peace all his life as a peerless elder statesman and outstanding statesman.
Then followed speeches titled "Comrade Kim Il Sung 's exploits", " Kim Il Sung , the great master of socialist theory and practice", "President Kim Il Sung 's great policy of Juche ", "In memory of President Kim Il Sung : The great leader President Kim Il Sung is always alive" and "Liberator and benevolent father of the Korean people".
A message to the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un was adopted at the seminar. -0-
