Truth He Deeply Implanted

In Dec. Juche 107(2018), the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un inspected a shoemaking factory.

Looking round different parts of the factory, he dropped in at the sample room.

He came up to a display stand and learnt in detail about the raw materials and materials used for making various forms of shoes.

Then he stressed the importance of provision of domestic raw and other materials.

The raw and other materials can be imported from other countries but if it is impossible to import, then how can we run the factory.

Reminding officials of that, the respected General Secretary instructed that it is illogical to think that we have to live with the help of other countries but can’t survive without their help.

Hearing his instructions, the officials lost in deep thought.

Localization of raw and other materials is not merely a businesslike matter, but an important matter decisive to development of the national economy.

For this reason, the respected General Secretary would reiterate the importance of localization of raw and other materials at every opportunity.

Presently, he stressed again the importance of the localization:

The only way to survive is to be self-reliant. We should develop the national economy by our own efforts on the principle of strengthening the might of self-reliance. What is particularly important is to wholly rely on locally available raw and other materials.

That day, the officials kept deep in mind that the localization is an important matter relating to destiny of ours.

High Appraisal, Great Trust

The following happened in May Juche 108(2019) when the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un inspected a machine-building factory.

Then, the factory was producing highly efficient machines by introducing rational methods to normalize the production without use of expensive metallic material which had been dependent on import in the past.

Making the rounds of the factory, the respected General Secretary highly praised the accomplishment the officials and working people of the factory achieved through the brisk technical innovation movement under the banner of self-reliance.

Seeing the newly-manufactured facilities for producing potato starch, the respected General Secretary stressed that the factory should manufacture modern and highly efficient machines badly needed for different sectors of the national economy, thus ensuring the localization of the machine in the work for modernizing the production process of factories and enterprises including foodstuff factories.

That day, what he treasured more than their achievements was their spirit of overcoming trials and difficulties by their own efforts.

With this great trust and expectation, the respected General Secretary commented that the Party attaches great importance to the factory.

Hearing his instruction, the officials of the factory realized that nothing is impossible when they struggle under the banner of self-reliance.
