Kim Tok Hun, Member of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea and Vice-President of the State Affairs Commission and Premier of the Cabinet of the Democratic People's Republic of Korea, made a field survey of the production at the Chollima Steel Complex.
Looking round different production processes, he encouraged the officials and workers of the complex.
He called on the officials to organize and command the production in detail and further raise the capacity and working rate of the existing equipment, thus producing more iron and steel and sending them to the grand construction sites including the areas of damage rehabilitation in time.
In the flooded areas of the city of Sinuiju and Uiju County of North Phyongan Province, Premier Kim said the officials should discharge their responsibility and duty in providing the flood victims with living conditions and pay special attention to taking care of health of the people and take perfect medical and anti-epidemic measures in particular.
He stressed the need to map out the construction plan for damage rehabilitation thoroughly according to the intention of the Party and rapidly complete the designs for each area and section on the highest level.
Relevant issues were discussed and measures taken at the consultative meetings held on the spot.
