Russian President Vladimir Putin declared at a plenary meeting of the “Valdai” international discussion club on November 7 that a multipolar world order will be formed, where the West’s hegemony will gain no footing.
The world has entered an era of radical and revolutionary change and at present a completely new international order is forming, he said, noting that people recognize their interests, values, individuality and entity more clearly and definitely.
Asserting that the world is moving towards a multipolar structure in which everyone’s voice can be heard, he said that those who are accustomed to “solo” and want to play alone will have to adapt themselves to a “new world music”.
Russia has no intention to teach anyone anything or enforcing its world outlook, but is always ready for dialogue on the basis of fully considering each other’s legitimate interests, he stated.
Saying that the shameless and unprecedented geopolitical ambition of the West is the real cause of world conflicts, ranging from the Yugoslavian crisis to the Ukrainian crisis, Putin emphasized that Russia repeatedly stopped whoever sought world domination and will do so in the future, too.
