At the Tenth Session of the 14th Supreme People’s Assembly of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea held in January this year, the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un said that it is the nature and duty of our Party and the government to unconditionally keep the promise made with the people, however harsh trials they may face.
What he said reflects the lofty ideal, ambition and invariable faith and will of the benevolent father to shoulder the projects for realizing the long-cherished desires for the good of the people and carry them out regardless of whether conditions are favourable or not and thereby build on this land a socialist paradise where the people enjoy a happy life generation after generation.
One day in October 2015 when he visited the Sci-Tech Complex built on the Taedong River flowing through the capital city, an official said to him that some had thought that the project could not be completed until October 10. Actually, the construction of the complex was a large-scale project. Comrade Kim Jong Un said to the official that the Workers’ Party of Korea had never failed to keep its promises with the people and that all the promises made with the people must be kept without fail.
Under his care for the people, many monumental structures have sprung up on this land in the face of the ever-increasing manoeuvres of the enemy against the country— examples being the workers’ hostel at the Pyongyang Kim Jong Suk Textile Mill, Wisong Scientists Residential District, apartment houses for lecturers of Kim Chaek University of Technology, Ryomyong Street, Yonphung Scientists Holiday Camp, Pyongyang Dental Hygiene Supplies Factory and Ryonpho Greenhouse Farm.
All these structures are priceless assets created under the guidance of Kim Jong Un who keeps all his promises with the people.
To fulfill his promises with the people, he is always on a field guidance trip.
It is his creed that the Party, the state and all other things on this land exist because the people exist and if it is the wish of the people, a star must be plucked from the heavens or flowers must be grown even on a rock. And it is his staunch will and firm determination to provide a happy life to the people, who have remained faithful to the Party in the face of all manner of difficulties. As such, he puts it forward as the nature and duty of the Party and the government to unconditionally keep the promise made with the people, however harsh trials they may face.
