Pyongyang, January 15 (KCNA) -- Trade union organizations at all levels in the DPRK are conducting information and motivation activities to encourage workers and other trade union members to make a great stride forward in the first advance of the new year.
Officials of the Central Committee of the General Federation of Trade Unions of Korea (GFTUK) have conducted a political work at the production sites of the Jagang Provincial Supply Coal Mine, the Kim Jong Thae Electric Locomotive Complex and the East Pyongyang Thermal Power Plant, and encouraged the workers and trade union members to make innovations in the first production of this year while giving aid materials to them.
Those, who went to major industrial establishments in Pyongyang, conducted political work to arouse the workers and trade union members to implement the decisions of the plenary meeting of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea. And members of the Workers' Art Group of the Central Committee of the GFTUK conducted motivational activities at the housing construction sites in the Hwasong area and the Sangwon Cement Complex.
Officials of the South Phyongan Provincial Committee of the GFTUK went to the February 8 Jikdong Youth Coal Mine under the Sunchon Area Youth Coal Mining Complex with many aid materials and explained and explained the ideas of the plenary meeting of the Party Central Committee, implanting the loyalty and patriotism in the minds of coal miners.
Officials and primary information workers of the North Phyongan and South Hamgyong provincial committees of the GFTUK aroused the enthusiasm of the masses for struggle and patriotism through motivational activities at the Sinuiju Textile Mill and the February 8 Vinalon Complex.
Trade union organizations of provinces, ministries and national agencies conducted political information and motivational activities for increased production at major industrial establishments. -0-
