Pyongyang, January 16 (KCNA) -- Upon hearing the news of the Eleventh Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, the workers at the Sangwon Cement Complex in the DPRK have turned out as one in a drive for increased production. This surging fighting spirit has been rapidly expanded to the whole country, causing a chain reaction at once and serving as a great encouragement of making all the people turn out in the drive for implementing the decisions of the plenary meeting of the Party Central Committee and bring about unprecedented proud fruition and changes, says Rodong Sinmun Thursday in an editorial.
Today’s drive for increased production is an all-people patriotic struggle to repay the trust of the Party Central Committee with higher production successes, the editorial says, and goes on:.
Our Party set the huge goal for comprehensive national rejuvenation as we see today, because it firmly believes in unswerving loyalty of our people who are upholding the Party’s cause with all sincerity and inexhaustible creative power for achieving the eventful successes which others cannot expect in the indomitable fighting spirit.
This year we will significantly mark the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers’ Party of Korea.
It is the pride and honor of the DPRK people only to celebrate with splendor the founding anniversary of the great mother Party, our powerful strength, destiny and future, with proud labor successes.
Today’s drive for increased production is an all-people mass movement to bring earlier our great ambition and ideal by carrying out the plan and determination of the Party Central Committee. It is also a drive for defending the dignity to powerfully demonstrate once again before the world what miracles the DPRK people work.
The editorial calls upon all the people to carry out the tasks set forth at the plenary meeting of the Party Central Committee by intensifying the drive for increased production in the fighting spirit and mettle of the workers at the Sangwon Cement Complex and thus hold the Ninth Congress of the Workers' Party of Korea as the one of victors and glory. -0-
