An inaugural ceremony of regional-industry factories in Kumya County for the "Regional Development 20×10 Policy" took place on the 3rd.
It was attended by officials and working people in South Hamgyong Province and Kumya County and service personnel of the construction regiment.
Ri Jong Nam, Chief Secretary of the South Hamgyong Provincial Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea, made an inaugural address.
He said the grand inaugural ceremonies of regional-industry factories demonstrating the dynamic phase of regional development in the new era and exciting the whole country prove that the people's desire for regional rejuvenation comes true.
He stressed that the adoption of the historic cause of overall development of regional industry as the most important political task of the Party and the state and the erection of its brilliant entities are the great revolution which can be carried out only by the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un.
Ri Ho Bom, Chief Secretary of the Kumya County Committee of the WPK, made a speech and officials of the new factories cut the inaugural tape.
After the ceremony, the participants looked round the modern regional-industry factories.
A colourful art performance and merry dancing party were given to celebrate the great event of the county.
