Many coal mines under the Pukchang Area Youth Coal-mining Complex are boosting the coal output every month.
The complex has produced hundreds of thousands of tons of coal by organizing a socialist emulation drive among the youth shock brigades and the high-speed tunnelling sub-workteams and completed drifts with a total of 3 000 metres by tunnelling thousands of metres every month.
The Inpho Youth Coal Mine has done its share in fulfilling the coal production plan of the complex by completing over 20 technical innovation tasks including the lathe for processing wheels of 10-ton electric carts and the press and rolling machines for producing rail spikes.
All the mining workteams at the Namdok Youth Coal Mine have carried out their daily production plan by raising the proportion of mechanization in pit work by dint of horizontal loaders and prop collectors and sped up tunnelling through continuous drilling and blasting for obtaining more reserve faces.
The Hoean Youth Coal Mine has developed socket and introduced multipurpose inertial loaders into the mining workteams so as to markedly increase the mining rate. Besides, it has produced thousands of tons of more coal while increasing the lifespan of tunnels by more than 1.2 times and saving much manpower and materials by developing and introducing the methods of pit perpetuation.
The Phunggok Youth Coal Mine also normalizes the production and transport of coal by applying more than 10 new technological approaches to track haulage and other equipment.
