The Advanced Agricultural Technology Exchange Company of the Academy of Agricultural Sciences has newly established an organic food "Paekmi" (Polished Rice) production system.
It has built an organic food production process based on processing equipment, sorting and vacuum packaging, thus making it possible to establish "Paekmi" production system, an organic product with high quality and nutritive functions, free from contamination in the whole processes raging from production and harvesting to processing, storage and transport.
The sci-tech achievements made in the production of organic farm products conforming to the standard indices won the first place at the "Advanced Science and Technology and Products Exhibition--2024" and the 37th National Sci-Tech Festival.
The company has presented "Paekmi" products which won organic quality authentication to the commercial service networks at home and international trade fairs. It conducted academic and product exchanges with various countries and international organic agricultural institutions and sold them, winning popularity among buyers.
