Russia has been advancing bilateral cooperative relations with various countries.
In July, the Foreign Minister of Russia met with his counterparts of Pakistan and India respectively on the sidelines of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation’s Foreign Ministers Council Meeting in Tianjin. They discussed various aspects of bilateral cooperation including energy, agriculture and defense, as well as bilateral and international security issues. They reiterated their commitment to further strengthening bilateral relations.
On July 22, the Russian foreign minister had talks with the Minister of Foreign Affairs and Cooperation of Mozambique during her working visit to Russia. During a joint press conference following the talks, he stated that the two countries have a tradition of defense cooperation and confirmed the readiness of the Russian Government to consider all requests from Mozambique on issues related to the need to strengthen its defense capabilities and anti-terrorist potential.
