Pyongyang, October 9 (KCNA) -- A performance was given by winners of the national youth and students solo and instrumental solo contest at the Hamhung Youth Open-Air Theatre on October 8.
Among the audience were officials concerned, officials of the youth league, youth and students in Hamhung City.
Put on the stage of the performance, which began with chorus "Mother's Birthday", were male solo "We Sing of the Party" and sohaegum (Korean folk instrument) and male solo "Care of My Destiny" and other colorful numbers.
The performers fully displayed their skills they have trained through art group activities at worksites and schools.
Male solo "Always Be at Side of Him" and other songs were acclaimed by the audience as they impressively depicted the ardent yearning for the respected fatherly Marshal Kim Jong Un who has put forward the young people as the most vibrant unit of society and brought the dream and ideal of youth into brilliant reality.
Put on the stage were numbers reflecting the strong desire of the young vanguard to contribute to the overall rejuvenation and development of Korean-style socialism with the staunch pioneering spirit and positive efforts like the preceding generations who were always loyal to the Party's call.
The performance atmosphere was revved up by cheerful folk songs reflecting the proud reality in which the noble intention of our Party is being translated into reality and the country turned into a paradise of the people. -0-
