The 29th seminar of world political parties on building new society was held in Mexico from September 25 to 27.

Present there were leaders of various political parties and lawmakers of Mexico, the DPRK ambassador to Mexico and representatives of more than 100 political parties and organizations from over 50 countries including Russia, China, Vietnam, Laos, Nicaragua, Brazil and Venezuela.

Congratulatory speeches were made at the seminar to be followed by remarks.

Speakers said that the Workers' Party of Korea has been faithful to its mission and duty as a socialist ruling party by conducting its building and activities based on the people-first principle since its founding and that the work for the comprehensive rejuvenation and development of socialism is dynamically being pushed forward under the wise leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.

The seminar adopted a "resolution of solidarity congratulating the 80th founding anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea and supporting the cause of the struggle of the WPK and the Korean people".

The resolution extended the highest glory to the great Comrade Kim Il Sung and the great Comrade Kim Jong Il, founder, builders and eternal leaders of the WPK, and to the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un who is ushering in a new heyday of strengthening the whole Party through the consistent succession and fresh innovations.

The resolution expressed firm support to and solidarity with the WPK and the Korean people in their struggle to boost the leadership ability and fighting efficiency of the WPK, accelerate the comprehensive rejuvenation and development of socialist construction by dint of self-reliance and self-sustenance and glorify the 80th founding anniversary of the WPK as a grand festival of victory and glory, rallying closely behind the respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un.

It strongly denounced the US and its vassal forces for their adventurous military provocations that threaten the security environment on the Korean peninsula and in its vicinity and extended full support to the WPK, the DPRK government and the Korean people in their struggle to defend the sovereignty and dignity of the country and peace in the region and the rest of the world by dint of the greatest national defence capability.

It called upon the communist parties, workers' parties and progressive political parties in all countries to significantly hold colourful celebrations in splendour and further strengthen international solidarity with the WPK and the Korean people on the occasion of the 80th founding anniversary of the WPK.
