The international community is strongly denouncing the hegemony-seeking practices of Israel.
At the 80th Session of the UN General Assembly held in September representatives of many countries collectively walked out of the meeting before Israeli prime minister made a speech to express their protest against it.
Showing their strong disapproval of the brigandish act of Israel to completely exterminate Palestine, 157 countries accounting for 81 percent of 193 UN member states recognized Palestine as a state.
The situation in the Gaza Strip cannot be tolerated morally, legally and politically, said the UN secretary general, noting that the two-state solution is the only reliable way for peace between Israel and Palestine.
Demonstrations and rallies are taking place in many countries to condemn Israel.
Strikes and protest demonstrations were held simultaneously to support Palestine in over 100 cities in Italy including Rome, Milan and Naples, and large-scale anti-Israel demonstrations were staged in Canada, Turkiye and other countries.
Recently, Arab and Islamic countries held an emergency summit meeting to denounce Israel’s air raid on Doha, Qatar, as an act of aggression violating international law. Heads of state of those countries participating in the meeting issued a final communiqué to appeal for an international action to put the blame on the Zionist regime.
The joint defence council of the Gulf Cooperation Council also convened a special meeting to strongly condemn Israel for the military attack on Qatar, saying that it poses a threat to regional stability.
In connection with the ground attack and large-scale air raids on Gaza carried out by the Israeli forces, a spokesman for the Chinese Ministry of Foreign Affairs strongly urged Israel to lend an ear to the strong voice of the international community and immediately stop military actions in the Gaza Strip.
The Slovenian government declared Israeli Prime Minister Netanyahu as persona non grata.
The European Union also worked out a draft plan for sanctions aimed at putting pressure on Israel. If it is passed, the assets of some figures of the Israeli authorities in Europe will reportedly be frozen and tariffs will be imposed on Israeli goods.
In this respect, the Israeli prime minister acknowledged that his country has been plunged into international isolation.
Israel tries to ensure its domination in the Middle East with the military and political backing of the US, but to no avail.
Any country seeking hegemony is doomed to isolation.
