A trial run of new underground train was made in the presence of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un on November 19, 2015.
When he had visited Kim Jong Thae Electric Locomotive Complex one month before, Kim Jong Un had seen the new underground train and said he would try it out at the time of its trial run. Keeping the promise, he came out to the Kaeson Station.
He got on the underground train and shuttled between several sections to learn about its trial run in detail.
And he said the performance of the underground train is really great and that its speed is good and its braking state is perfect.
He continued: Trying it out, I can see that the underground train is safe and reliable. It has been proved that the new underground train accords with the technical requirements as mass transport means in all aspects.
The underground train is handsome and its fittings and service information devices look modern. The people will be very pleased if they use the underground train made with our own strength, technology and efforts.
That day, Kim Jong Un noted that the underground train of Korean style could be developed successfully as they made efforts with the viewpoint that modernization is precisely localization under the banner of self-reliance, researcher Kim Chol Nam at the Academy of Social Sciences said and continued:
"The respected General Secretary Kim Jong Un said he was really pleased to try out the underground train made by scientists, technicians and workers of Kim Jong Thae Electric Locomotive Complex and relevant sectors with their concerted efforts and added that his heart was overflowing with confidence that we can make anything when relying on our own forces and science and technology.
That day, he stressed the need to set a higher goal and wage a vigorous struggle for serializing the production of underground trains of the world level in the future."
The Korean people are constantly creating great entities conducive to the prosperity and development of the country with their own strength and technology true to the noble intention of Kim Jong Un who desires all sectors and units to compete with, challenge and go ahead of the world in the revolutionary spirit of self-reliance.
