Talks between Comrade Choe Son Hui, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Democratic People’s Republic of Korea (DPRK), and Comrade Thongsavanh Phomvihane, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Lao People’s Democratic Republic, were held at the Mansudae Assembly Hall on November 12.
Present at the talks from the DPRK side were Comrade Pak Sang Gil, Vice-Minister of Foreign Affairs, and other officials of the Foreign Ministry and from the Lao side were the Foreign Minister and his party.
At the talks, they exchanged views on the issues of further strengthening and developing the traditional relations of friendship between the DPRK and Laos and promoting mutual support and cooperation in the international arena by thoroughly implementing the agreements made between the top leaders of the two countries last October, and reached consensus on the issues discussed.
