Rodong Sinmun Calls for Ushering in Comprehensive Prosperity of State under Banner of Three Revolutions

Pyongyang, November 18 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun Tuesday dedicates an editorial to the 50th anniversary of the start of the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement.
The 50-year-long history of the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement is the one that the DPRK has built a prosperous state with self-sustenance and self-respect by consolidating our own strength to the full and the one that the DPRK has steadily brought about great leaps forward and great innovations in socialist construction by turning the achieved victories and successes into greater ones. In such proud course, the DPRK has developed into an invincible socialist state, the editorial notes, and goes on:
Today our socialist construction has entered a new higher stage demanding an extraordinary growth speed and a phase of comprehensive development.
The reality urgently calls for further accelerating the overall development of socialism by displaying the might of the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement to the maximum under the slogan "Let us transform all our revolutionary positions in line with the demands of the three revolutions!"
Holding higher the banner of the three revolutions at the present time is a prerequisite for more firmly preparing all members of the society into a powerful motive force to shoulder the great new era.
In the flames of the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement, people come to grow up to be the genuine revolutionaries who cherish loyalty to the leader as the inherent duty in life and are fully equipped with faith in socialism and class consciousness and to be the genuine human beings with extraordinary creative ability, noble moral traits and high cultural level.
Holding higher the banner of the three revolutions at the present time is an important guarantee for greatly expanding the phase of comprehensive development of our state by transforming all the revolutionary positions in line with the demands of the three revolutions.
The editorial calls upon all the people to uphold the plan and intention of the Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea on transforming all the revolutionary positions in line with the demands of the three revolutions with signal successes in the Three-Revolution Red Flag Movement and thus usher in a new era of comprehensive national rejuvenation with confidence. -0-
