Pyongyang, November 18 (KCNA) -- North Hwanghae Province in the DPRK is strengthening the foundation for producing building materials by its own efforts.
The province has frequently organized exhibitions, demonstrations and visits to advanced units, boosting the enthusiasm for emulation among cities and counties.
Building-materials production units in the province, and cities and counties produce diversified building materials and develop more building materials capable of representing their regions by relying on their own raw materials resources.
The Kyongam Tile Factory developed decorative tiles of various sizes whose technical indices are put on a high level while lowering the standard of consumption per unit, and Koksan County built building materials production bases and invented various kinds of tools necessary for building materials production.
Phyongsan County upgraded the building-materials production line of the county construction brigade and made more than 10 kinds of building materials, and Rinsan County newly built a talc production base at the county building-materials factory to produce high-quality talc.
Songnim City and Hwangju County made various kinds of building materials with light-burned magnesia and increased a variety of building materials being used in the construction of rural dwellings.
The province organized a building-materials exhibition to increase the enthusiasm of all regions and units for emulation.
During the exhibition, there took place exchanges to transfer excellent technical resources of professional building materials production units to cities and counties and share the experience of advanced units. -0-
