The Enlarged Meeting of the 13th Plenary Meeting of the Eighth Central Committee of the Workers' Party of Korea was convened on December 9.
Present there were members of the Presidium of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee, members and alternate members of the Political Bureau of the WPK Central Committee and members and alternate members of the WPK Central Committee.
Present there as observers were officials of departments of the WPK Central Committee, leading officials of ministries, national agencies and provincial-level guidance organs, chief secretaries of the Party committees and chairpersons of the people's committees in cities and counties, leading Party and administrative officials of major industrial establishments and relevant commanding officers of the Korean People's Army.
A presidium of the plenary meeting was elected.
Comrade Kim Jong Un presided over the plenary meeting.
The meeting approved the discussion on five agenda items including the review of the implementation of the Party and state policies and the work of the Central Inspection Commission of the Party in 2025 and the major issues related to the preparations for the Ninth Congress of the WPK and entered into the discussion on relevant agenda items.
