Pyongyang, December 11 (KCNA) -- The Kanggye Tannery has been newly built and inaugurated in Jagang Province.
The tannery with more than 10 buildings and modern equipment was built to lay another foundation for substantially improving the people's living standards.
An inauguration ceremony took place on the spot on Tuesday with the attendance of officials in Jagang Province and employees of the tannery.
At the ceremony, a speaker said that the Kanggye Tannery is a precious creation which has been produced by the noble intention of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un to provide our people with more civilized and affluent living conditions.
The speaker called upon the officials and employees of the tannery to keep learning modern science and technology and steadily improve the quality of products and increase production, bearing deep in mind the importance of their duties in improving the people's standard of living.
At the end of the ceremony the participants looked round the tannery. -0-
