DPRK women footballers took firstplace in the 2025 FIFA U-17 Women's World Cup held in Morocco to lift thefourth World Cup.
The DPRK team overwhelmed all itsrivals with tactical and technical edge in the group league, the last 16,quarterfinals and semifinals and advanced to the final. The final match betweenthe DPRK team and the Dutch team, known as a powerful team of Europe, took placeon November 8 (local time).
Full of confidence in sure victory,the DPRK players took the initiative from the beginning to run the matchforcefully.
As they constantly put pressure onthe opponents while intensifying mutual cooperation, No. 15 Kim Won Sim scoredthe first goal in the 14th minute.
They kept threatening the opponentsin the goal area, without slowing down in the least.
No. 11 Pak Rye Yong and No. 7 Ri UiGyong succeeded in scoring goals respectively in the 18th minute and the 42ndminute.
After all, the DPRK team defeatedthe Dutch team 3-0 and won the World Cup.
The winners celebrated theirvictory flying the national flag of the dignified DPRK as they ran around thestadium full of boundless pride of having reported the happy news of victory totheir motherland, leaving a deep impression on many football experts, fans and spectatorsof the world.
Theywon all of seven matches from the group league matches to the final in theevent and scored 25 goals in total, thus clearly demonstrating their ability asthe strongest team in the world once again.
At the awards ceremony, the trophyand gold medals were awarded to the DPRK footballers who won the 2025 FIFA U-17Women's World Cup, and Golden Ball, the best player award, and Golden Boot, thetop scorer award, to Yu Jong Hyang and Silver Ball and Silver Boot to Kim WonSim.
Thebrilliant success of the admirable DPRK footballers inthe event is a great source of encouragement to all the people in the countrywho are performing fresh miracles and feats in the generaladvance for greeting the Ninth Congress of the Workers’ Party of Korea as aglorious one of victors.
