Kim Chun Min is deputy head in charge of technical affairs of the Jaeryong County Hospital.
So far he has applied advanced methods to surgical operations, so that many people who almost lost their working abilities regained health.
During his university days, he majored in surgery. After graduating from the university, he worked in several specialized departments, doing a stint as a doctor in a ri hospital and head of the obstetrical and gynaecological department and head of the abdominal surgery department of the county hospital.
While treating a large number of different cases, he accumulated a wealth of experience and improved his skills.
Once, a farmer was rushed to his hospital. The patient was in shock by contusion on his abdomen and chest.
His stomach was driven to the left chest with a rupture of diaphragm.
Such a case was quite rare, but Kim treated the patient with a combined application of thoracic and abdominal surgery.
In addition, he successfully performed several operations that were hard to do in county hospitals, including incision of grumbling appendix allowing for 10-15mm cut and aortic end-to-end anastomosis.
Not content with this, he invented such medical devices of great clinical significance as high-frequency electric operating knife without electrodes and anal intra-abdominal pressure gauge, thus contributing to improving the quality of medical service.
