Anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il's Field Guidance Marked in Kanggye City of DPRK

Pyongyang, February 4 (KCNA) — Meetings were held at several units in Kanggye City, Jagang Province of the DPRK, to mark the 20th anniversary of Chairman Kim Jong Il’s field guidance.
Present there were officials concerned and employees of the Kanggye Wood Processing Factory, the Kanggye Koryo Medicine-processing Factory, the Jagang Provincial Bank and the Hungju Chicken Farm.
Reports were made at the meetings.
The reporters said that the historic field guidance given by the Chairman on February 4, 2006 served as an important occasion that made the officials and working people in the city bring about a radical turn in the development of the regional economy and the improvement of people’s standard of living by fully displaying the Kanggye spirit.
They noted that the officials and employees of the relevant units have turned out as one in implementing the Workers’ Party of Korea’s policies and made proud successes over the past 20 years, regarding it as the key point of their work to defend and glorify the leadership exploits of the Party as befitting the creators of the Kanggye spirit.
They called upon all officials and working people to faithfully uphold the ideas and leadership of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un and bring about fresh miracles and innovations in the vanguard of the struggle to usher in a new era of regional transformation by uniting more firmly with patriotism.
