Pyongyang, March 8 (KCNA) — Leading newspapers of the DPRK Sunday dedicate editorials to the 116th March 8 International Women’s Day.
On this occasion, the Workers’ Party of Korea and the people extend warm congratulations and encouragement to all the women who are firmly supporting the Korean-style socialism, devoting their hearts and soul with warm affection and love, the papers say.
Rodong Sinmun in an editorial says that the Korean-style socialism is now making steady progress despite any difficulties and the might of our state is growing stronger day by day. It is associated with the loyalty and patriotic enthusiasm of our women, it says, and goes on:
Our women are true revolutionaries who support the Party’s cause with single-hearted loyalty.
It is the ideological and spiritual qualities of our women to single-mindedly and firmly defend our Party in good or bad days.
Our women are genuine patriots who devote their precious sweat and passion to the journey for the prosperity of the country.
It is the pride of our Party and the great strength of our country to have a large contingent of patriotic women devoting their all to the mightiness of our state.
Our women are gardeners who beautifully cultivate the grand socialist garden with warm enthusiasm and affection.
There are many countries in the world and there are women in every country, but there are no such ones as the DPRK women who are upholding their great Party, state and social system with ardent loyalty and extraordinary patriotic will and fulfilling their duty for their families and the country.
Our women enjoy valuable dignity and happy life with their boundless pride and honor under the care of the peerlessly great men.
Today the Korean women’s movement is greeting a new heyday of its development under the guidance of the respected Comrade Kim Jong Un.
Thanks to the leadership of Kim Jong Un, the dignity and position of our women are firmly guaranteed and their beautiful life and happiness are eternal.
Minju Joson in an editorial calls upon all the women to discharge their mission and duty before the times and the revolution in the present struggle to bring earlier the prosperity of our country by thoroughly implementing the decisions of the Ninth Congress of the WPK, steadily carrying forward the history and tradition of the Juche-oriented women’s movement.
