The Artificial Intelligence Technology Institute under the Faculty of Artificial Intelligence of Kim Il Sung University was selected as one of the ten best IT enterprises in 2025. It is a development- and creation-oriented enterprise leading the development of artificial intelligence technology of the country with powerful talent forces.

The institute is an authoritative and promising IT enterprise which has been selected as one of the ten best IT enterprises on four occasions.

It made an active contribution to developing the computer integrated manufacture system of many units and is achieving rapid development, regarding the generative artificial intelligence technology as the core technology.

It purposefully provides occasions for steadily improving the practical qualifications of the researchers and raises their efficiency. Since there are many freshmen, researchers of high ability give a short course necessary for the study and development of generative artificial intelligence technology after a day's work.

The short course is focussed on solving the practical problems, i.e. raising the level of knowledge needed for developing programs while putting efforts into theoretical lectures.

Section Chief Ri Myong Chol said that through the short course, the overall theoretical level and programming ability of the researchers have been improved to play an important role in the development of various technologies, and continued:

"It served as a good way to constantly strengthen the overall talent forces.

On the basis of such experience, the institute made it a system to give practical training regularly and when research tasks were raised, it organized short courses intentionally on the principle of indicating the orientation and ways for carrying them out, thus contributing to improving the practical ability of talents."

The institute is steadily improving the ability of the researchers and further strengthening the talent forces through researches.

There are many research groups at the institute. What is characteristic is that they are run in the way of forming new ones or changing them continually according to the processes and objects of researches. It is very effective in enabling the talents to make good research findings in a short span of time by fully displaying their abilities.

In particular, the researchers with short career or less experience learn a lot and steadily improve their practical qualifications in the course of making joint researches with those of high ability, with the result that the overall qualifications of the researchers are improved all the more.
