Functional toothpastes produced at the Malgunachim Chemist’s of the Malgunachim Trading Company located in Jonjin-dong, Rangnang District, Pyongyang, are winning popularity among consumers.
The chemist’s produces dozens of kinds of toothpastes like nano-silver toothpaste and nicotine-removing toothpaste. They have a remarkable effect on protecting teeth and guaranteeing dental health.
According to the developer, the nicotine-removing toothpaste containing pyrophosphate extracted from plants is very effective in preventing tooth discolouration common among smokers.
The nano-silver toothpaste with strong antibacterial properties is good for checking the growth of harmful bacteria. In particular, it is highly effective in restraining oral saccharification, removing halitosis and arresting gingival bleeding as it contains xylitol good for treating diabetes.
The newly developed functional toothpastes were highly appreciated at several exhibitions and shows in different fields such as the national sci-tech festival, and some of them were locally patented.
