Photo Exhibitions Held in Turkey

Pyongyang, December 6 (KCNA) -- Photo exhibitions introducing the Democratic People's Republic of Korea took place in Istanbul and Ankara, Turkey, on Nov. 15 and 16.
On display at its venues was a photo showing the statues of President Kim Il Sung and Chairman Kim Jong Il on Mansu Hill.
Also displayed there were photos showing the true picture of the DPRK advancing by dint of single-minded unity.
Attending the opening ceremonies of the exhibitions were public figures and people of Turkey and the DPRK ambassador to the country and staff members of his embassy.
Speakers at the ceremonies said the exhibition was opened successfully amid great interest of many people. The Korean people are friendly and diligent people, they said, adding that they could hardly repress his admiration for the appearance of the DPRK which has changed beyond imagination and the features of the Korean people who work with sincerity, full of optimism about tomorrow.
Sending full support and solidarity to the Korean people in their struggle for firmly defending the sovereignty of the country through their dynamic struggle against imperialism, the personages of the Motherland Party of Turkey said they were rejoiced over the brilliant successes made by the Korean people under the leadership of the Workers' Party of Korea and that they would make positive efforts for developing the relations between the two countries.
