DPRK Ambassador Ri Sung Gil presented his credentials to Nicolas Maduro Moros, president of Venezuela, on May 11.
The president said Venezuela and DPRK are far away from each other geographically but they have fraternal relations as they have always supported and cooperated with each other in the efforts for building socialism against imperialism.
The two countries have deepened mutual understanding through high-ranking visits and contacts, closely cooperated with each other in the international arena and the bilateral relations developed onto a higher stage in this course, he added.
He called for supporting and cooperating with each other in order to steadily develop the bilateral relations onto a fresh higher stage and continuing to join hands in the struggle for independence and socialism against imperialism.
