Pyongyang, October 29 (KCNA) -- A national seminar took place at the People's Palace of Culture Thursday to deeply study and grasp the scientific accuracy, validity and great vitality of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's work "Socialism Is a Science".
The seminar heard six papers which deeply explained and proved Kim Jong Il's work.
Ryang Kyong Bok, director and editor-in-chief of the Workers' Party of Korea Publishing House, said in his speech titled "The great leader Kim Jong Il's work 'Socialism Is a Science' serves as an immortal great programme indicating the road of winning the victory of socialism as it comprehensively systematizes and deals with the Juche-oriented theory of socialism" that the work is a perfect programme of socialism which comprehensively systematizes and deals with the socialist theory centered on the popular masses, the theory of putting main emphasis on man.
Thae Hyong Chol, president of the Academy of Social Sciences, noted that the work has formulated socialism as the most just idea and a revolutionary banner for achieving independence and scientifically clarified that socialism is the idea chosen by the popular masses themselves.
Song Ja Rip, president of Kim Il Sung University, in his speech made on the subject "Our socialism is the most scientific socialism based on the Juche-oriented view and stand on man" proved the reason why our socialism is the most scientific socialism, saying that how to view and approach man is an important issue related to the scientific accuracy and truth of a social system and its fate.
Pak Jong Won, deputy director of Kim Il Sung Higher Party School, made a speech on the subject "Our socialism is the most advantageous and powerful socialism centering on the popular masses".
Kim Won Sok, deputy editor-in-chief of Rodong Sinmun noted that the benevolent politics pursued by President Kim Il Sung is being consistently carried forward by Kim Jong Il.
The benevolent politics followed by the WPK is a main factor of defining the advantages and invincibility of the man-centered Korean style socialism and a great political mode providing a sure guarantee for an eternally rosy future of the DPRK, he added.
Kim Kwang Jom, secretary of the Primary Party Organization of University of National Economics in his speech noted it is a noble duty of the army and people of the DPRK to work miracles and perform feats in the ongoing general offensive for building a thriving nation, regarding the Juche-oriented socialist theory as their faith. He called on all officials and other working people to become honorable victors in the drive for opening the gate to the thriving nation.
