Pyongyang, October 19 (KCNA) -- Events took place in different countries on the occasions of the 67th anniversary of the Workers' Party of Korea, the 32nd anniversary of the proposal for founding the Democratic Federal Republic of Koryo and the 5th anniversary of the historic October 4 declaration.
An event of week of Korean culture was held in France and a lecture, book and photo exhibition and film show in India between Oct. 2 and 10.
Displayed in the venues of the events were photos of the revolutionary activities of President Kim Il Sung and General Secretary Kim Jong Il.
On display there were books and photos introducing their immortal exploits and Songun Korea.
The participants in the film shows watched the Korean films including "The Flower Girl", "Fireworks for a Thriving Nation" and "Arms of Korea".
Benua Qenedei, vice-president of the France-Korea Friendship Association, said that the great exploits performed by Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il in founding and developing the WPK and achieving the cause of independent and peaceful reunification of Korea will always be remembered by not only the Korean people but the progressive mankind.
The France-Korea Friendship Association will wage more dynamic international signature campaign for the peace on the Korean Peninsula, he noted.
Anita Chopra, president of the Indian Working Women Society for Study of the Juche Philosophy, said that Korea's reunification is sure to be achieved as long as there is Marshal Kim Jong Un, supreme leader of the Korean people, possessed of the same warm patriotism as Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il.
