Pyongyang, June 16 (KCNA) -- Kim Jong Un, first secretary of the Workers' Party of Korea, first chairman of the DPRK National Defence Commission and supreme commander of the Korean People's Army, gave field guidance to the machine plant managed by Ho Chol Yong.
Going round the processing and assembling shops, he learned in detail about the production and modernization of the plant.

At the processing shop he was greatly satisfied to see CNC-based lathes producing varieties of machine parts.

After going round the monument to the revolutionary activities of Generalissimos Kim Il Sung and Kim Jong Il, he said the plant is of weighty importance in the nation's machine-building industry and the WPK attaches great importance to it.

At the assembling shop he learned in detail about the mechanism and technical specifications of the finished machines.

He, at the same time, learned about the performance of the machines built at the plant.

The machines are high in their performance and look nice, he said, appreciating feats performed by officials, workers, scientists and technicians of the plant in building modern machines of Korean style.

He set forth tasks to be fulfilled by the plant.

He underscored the need to produce more updated machines which are suited to the actual conditions of the country, which prove highly effective in practice and are favored by the users.

He called on the relevant units to wage a dynamic drive to provide updated machine parts of Korean style in good time.

He went round the hostel of workers of the plant.

He dropped in at the rooms visited by Kim Il Sung in the past. He said that the rooms are kept clean and neat and they are liked by hostellers.

Going round the dining room and non-staple foodstuff store, he learnt about the supply service to the hostellers.

Then he visited the newly built kindergarten of the plant.

He expressed satisfaction over the fact that the plant has successfully built a playground and play-yard so that children may fully enjoy playing. Then he moved to the room devoted to the history of the plant.

He heard with deep attention stories about the warm loving care shown by Kim Il Sung for the kindergarten before going round various rooms.

He also looked at words written by children with brushes.

After watching a performance given by kindergarteners at an amusement room, he took them to his arms and had a photo taken with them.

He repeatedly asked its teachers to feed the children well and bring them up in such a way that they may always feel happy.

The last leg of his guidance was the Kangsong Health Complex.

Going round the amusement room, gymnasium, swimming and wading pools and dining rooms of the health complex, he was told that workers' life was also envied by people in urban areas. He said that he was also pleased to hear that they fully enjoy a highly civilized life in the society for workers.

He provided the plant with vehicles needed by it, saying that he would personally take charge of supplies, if it proves successful in production.

He had a photo session with workers of the plant.

He was accompanied by Choe Ryong Hae, Choe Hwi, Pak Thae Song, Hong Yong Chil, Son Chol Ju and Yun Tong Hyon.
