Pyongyang, June 8 (KCNA) -- "Let Us Create the 'Masikryong Speed' and Usher in New Heyday on All Fronts for Socialist Construction"
This historic appeal reflects the warm love of the dear respected Marshal Kim Jong Un for the people, his resolve to race against the century so that the people can enjoy wealth and comfort under the socialist system as soon as possible, says Rodong Sinmun in an editorial on Saturday.
It says:
It is also the declaration of the absolute trust in the People's Army, the main force of the Songun revolution, and highly important guidelines for bringing about a great surge and innovations on all fronts for socialist construction in the new a-match-for-a hundred offensive speed in the 21st century.
Bring everything to earlier completion, not let us follow the time but race against it to make the people enjoy all happiness. This is the spirit of the love for the people that runs through the appeal.
It is the firm will of the DPRK's army and people to win a final victory in the all-out action with the U.S. and the construction of a thriving socialist nation through the offensive of decisively countering the hardships under the uplifted banner of independence.
The Masikryong Speed to be created by the army and the people of the country in hearty response to his patriotic appeal is the speed of the new era of the Songun revolution when the people dash forward to achieve a final victory true to the line of the WPK on simultaneously pushing forward economic construction and the building of nuclear force.
This speed is the great advance speed just suited to the revolutionary spirit, pluck and creative disposition of the WPK and the Korean people who are bringing earlier a final victory, taking the initiatives in the all-out action with the U.S. and the construction of a thriving socialist nation.
It is a shining tradition and fighting spirit of the army and the people of the DPRK that when the leader knocks the wall, they shake the whole country and when the party is determined to do something, they carry it out without fail.
