Pyongyang, August 26 (KCNA) -- The France-Korea Friendship Association released a statement on Aug. 20 in denunciation of the U.S.-south Korea Ulji Freedom Guardian (UFG) joint military exercises for aggression.
UFG rendered the situation on the Korean Peninsula extremely tense, the statement said, and went on:
The U.S. and south Korea claim that UFG is an "annual drill for defence". But there is no doubt that it is a drill for a war against the DPRK and the declaration of a war.
The world peace-loving and progressive forces are accusing the U.S. and south Korea of UFG that destroys peace and stability on the peninsula, and are urging them to immediately stop it.
The statement called on the world peace-loving forces to positively take part in the international signature campaign for averting a war on the peninsula and having a peace agreement signed.
