Pyongyang, March 28 (KCNA) -- Kim Il Sung Prize was conferred on "Glorifying the Era of Juche", a collection of reminiscences in the DPRK.
The book, made up of 70 volumes, deals with the greatness of General Secretary Kim Jong Il's ideas and theories, the ingenuity of his leadership art and his noble personality.
More than 13 656 000 copies were printed up till February this year since its Vol. 1 came off the press on Aug. 10, Juche 65 (1976).
The book (Vol. 1-70) carries reminiscences of more than 1 140 people, including anti-Japanese revolutionary fighters, officials of party and power bodies, economic organs and working people's organizations and others from all walks of life.
It features the extraordinary wisdom and leadership ability Kim Jong Il displayed in the course of leading the revolution and construction.
It also tells about stories of loving care Kim Jong Il had shown for the people on his field guidance tour.
The book, published at the Workers' Party of Korea Publishing House, has been popular among servicepersons and people, as it is a showcase of his revolutionary activities.
