Sinphyong, September 5 (KCNA) -- The construction project of Sinphyong Kumgang Scenic Beauty Resort was newly built as a cultural recreation ground for the people with the approach of the 65th founding anniversary of the DPRK.
The resort was the fruition of the devoted efforts made by Generalissimo Kim Jong Il to bring a happy life to the Korean people till the last moments of their life and the wise guidance of Marshal Kim Jong Un.
Officials and builders in North Hwanghae Province scrupulously carried out the construction on the principle of protecting natural beauty of the resort from any damage and ensuring every convenience to visitors in sightseeing and rest from the very day of ground-breaking.
They carried out the projects for digging thousands of cubic meters of earth for the dam foundation and hundreds of cubic meters of earth for the bridge foundation and completed the project of power station, bridge, etc. earlier than schedule.
There appeared in picturesque spots of the resort teashop, restaurant and other service facilities and observation decks of diverse styles and ponds. At the resting places visitors can enjoy different amusements including Korean chess and Yut-game.
