Wonsan, October 22 (KCNA) -- Builders of the Wonsan Army-People Power Station in Kangwon Province have carried out the overall project more than 90 percent.
Now that the project is progressing at a final phase, officials worked out detailed daily plans and are scrupulously organizing and commanding the operations so that the building of waterway tunnels and generator room, assembling of pressure pipe conduit and others were dynamically pushed forward.
The 2nd brigade in charge of waterway tunnel construction is carrying out its daily plan for covering a tunnel with concrete at more than 150 percent by introducing efficient work methods with the same vim and vigor with which it finished the driving of a huge waterway tunnel.
The 1st brigade in charge of waterway tunnel construction has also achieved successes in expanding waterway tunnel and concrete placing.
The builders of the generator room have hastened interior and exterior plastering and stepped up the preparations for completing the installing of generators in a short span of time.
The workers and technicians in charge of assembling the pressure pipe conduit are carrying out the project qualitatively while saving a lot of manpower and materials by pooling creative wisdom and energies and introducing technical innovations, inventions and rationalization proposals into operations.
Drivers of vehicles are ensuring a timely transport of cement, structural steel, gravel and sand and other materials, contributing to the rapid progress of the overall project.
