Pyongyang, July 5 (KCNA) -- A south Korean, Han Kyong Son (36), defected to the northern half of the country through a foreign country.
He, who was born in Kongju city, south Chungchong Province, was a boiler worker at a hotel in Taejon before his defection.
He has a brother and a sister in the south.
Referring to the motive of his defection, Han said it was as good as dreaming a day dream to expect a hhappy life by industrious labourh in south Korean society.
Through social experiences he keenly felt the southern society was not for the working people like him, he said, adding:
hI realized that only in the bosom of the respected General Kim Jong Il can people enjoy a worthy life.
