Pyongyang, November 29 (KCNA) -- The successful test-fire of new-type ICBM Hwasong-15, which was carried out under the political resolution and strategic decision of the Workers' Party of Korea, all the people across the DPRK are filled with great joy and excitement.
In this regard, Yang Ho, vice-minister of the Metallurgical Industry, told KCNA:
I am very excited after hearing the news about the successful test-fire.
It will be a great thunderclap to the U.S. and hostile forces which are running amuck to block the advance of the DPRK. And it is a great victory that declares all over the world the DPRK would firmly defend its dignity and sovereignty with its strong nuclear deterrent.
I will do my best to make fresh achievements in putting the metal industry on a Juche and modern basis with the spirit displayed by the defense scientists and technicians.
Hong Pyong Guk, vice-president of the State Academy of Sciences, said:
The ICBM Hwasong-15 is a perfect and powerful rocket capable of striking the whole U.S. mainland with super-large heavy nuclear warhead tipped. And it is a weaponry system with high maneuverability and accuracy, which was developed by our own efforts and technology. I want to express my heartfelt thanks to respected Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un for accomplishing the historic cause of completing the state nuclear force.
The new ICBM is a pride representing our dignity, spirit and future.
The victorious test-fire of ICBM pronounces that it is time for the U.S. and its vassal forces to make a proper option.
With no atrocious sanction, the enemies can check the DPRK people who are advancing toward the final victory in socialism with the spirit of self-reliance and self-development under the guidance of the respected Supreme Leader.
We, scientists of Juche Korea, will uphold the respected Supreme Leader with more scientific achievements of loyalty. -0-
