The DPRK succeeded in the ground jet test of a new type high-power engine of carrier rocket for the geo-stationary satellite. This was an event that demonstrated the might and spirit of the DPRK as a space power to push back the frontiers of the latest science and technology in the spirit of self-reliance and self-development.
The successful test provided the DPRK with a scientific and technical guarantee for confidently developing and completing the carrier rocket for the geo-stationary satellite in the period of the five year plan of the national aerospace development and helped it fully acquire carrier capability for launching various types of satellites including earth observation satellite at a world level.
The DPRK is a full-fledged satellite manufacturer and launcher that produced by itself everything necessary for satellite launches and a space power with tremendous national power to successfully launch any satellite, be it earth observation one or geo-stationary one as it wishes.
