Pyongyang, December 7 (KCNA) -- Taehung-trademarked fuel additive, developed by the Pyongyang Taehung Fur-tanning Exchange Company, is widely introduced in the Democratic People's Republic of Korea.
In recent years, a large number of units have gained a big economic profitability by applying fuel oil mixed with this additive to various kinds of vehicles and dynamotors.
In this regard, Ri Kyong Min, manager of the company, told KCNA:
The economic effectiveness of this additive was proved scientifically through field testing and examination of several years.
The additive satisfies all physic-chemical and mechanical characteristics of fuel oil.
It prevents corrosion and abrasion of engine and dilatation of piston and ring by thermal expansion.
The allowable numerical value of its every element, which may give negative effect to the fuel feed system, confirms with international quality index.
The additive can save more than 15 percent of fuel oil and considerably decrease the harmful gas elements in exhaust fumes.
The Taehung-trademarked fuel additive was certified as one of the national sci-tech achievements in June.
The company has a process of mass-producing this additive. -0-
