Pyongyang, December 31 (KCNA) -- Rodong Sinmun on Monday says in an article that 2018 is a historic year clearly witnessing the validity and invincibility of the socialist cause of Juche and convincing everyone that socialism is the future of mankind.
The article says that this year is the proud one in which the might of the DPRK fairly ranked in the center of the world political theater has been fully demonstrated, and goes on:
The new atmosphere of détente and peace was created in the Korean Peninsula and the region thanks to three north-south summits and DPRK-China summits and the DPRK-U.S. summit held this year.
This year is the one of heroic struggle and change in which the courageous spirit and inexhaustible potentiality of Juche Korea advancing by dint of self-reliance have been displayed before the world.
It is also the historic one that fully witnessed the great personality of Supreme Leader Kim Jong Un, great politician, ever-victorious brilliant commander and master of creation.
Under his energetic guidance, the true nature of socialism has been firmly preserved and the revolutionary climate of making selfless, devoted efforts for the good of people prevails throughout the Workers' Party of Korea.
The miraculous victory of this year that showed the dignity and might of the DPRK to the whole world is the outcome of the devoted guidance of Kim Jong Un.
