Pyongyang, July 7 (KCNA) -- Meetings were held by the Falcon State Assembly of Venezuela and the Carirubana City Committee of Falcon State of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela and a lecture by the France-Korea Friendship Association between June 23 and 28 in the June 25-July 27 month of anti-U.S. joint struggle.
The general coordinator of the Federal Secretariat of the United Left Party of Venezuela said that the DPRK is emerging victorious in the stand-off with the U.S. in the same spirit with which it gave heavy defeat to the U.S. imperialists in the Korean war.
This was possible as the Korean people were led by President Kim Il Sung and leader Kim Jong Il and are now under the leadership of Marshal Kim Jong Un, he noted, adding:
We will positively support and encourage the Korean people in their struggle to drive the U.S. forces out of south Korea and achieve the country's independent and peaceful reunification.
The coordinator of the Carirubana City Committee of Falcon State of the United Socialist Party of Venezuela said that under the wise leadership of Kim Jong Un the Korean people have achieved successes in the struggle to defend the country's sovereignty and achieve national reunification and global independence, holding high the banner of independence against imperialism, and this gives the people of Venezuela great encouragement. We will give wide publicity to the successes made by the Workers' Party of Korea and the Korean people.
The vice-chairman of the France-Korea Friendship Association said: The U.S. imperialists ignited the Korean War and committed heinous crimes by mercilessly killing innocent people and leveling Korea to the ground. The U.S. is the chief criminal wrecking the peace on the Korean peninsula. -0-
